The Lego Hogwarts Game is an ingenious strategy game for kids with its extra sliding block puzzle. This is no ifs ands or buts inspired by the tantalizing stairs of the Hogwarts Castle. The game has 5 extra micro figures, Harry Potter of course and also Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy and Albus Dumbledore. There are also one Hogwarts trainee micro outline from each "house" of Hogwarts.
The game has no ifs ands or buts two parts, assembling the pieces and playing the game. The Lego part is not too difficult to assemble, it took our kids less than an hour and they had a lot of fun doing it so it can probably be done much faster. Create is great and artful, and the building perceive is very entertaining. The game board is not so big so we don't have to take it down, it now has its place on one small table where we play the game. It should be noted though that the game board no ifs ands or buts fits back into the box for storage!

The game consists of 16 portable tiles and twelve of those function as portable stairs. The chronic 4 are various classrooms and these classroom contains homework items the players must accumulate in order to win the game. The player who get one of each kind of these items and take them back to their respective house wins the game. The Lego Hogwarts Game is exceptionally playable and invites kids to think and plan, and also to cooperate. It is tantalizing to succeed the discussions that take part when especially the younger players discuss strategies and plans they have in mind for the game. Often our kids refer to the books and films about Harry Potter and his friends.
To the game there is a Lego dice and the dice determines how many stair shifts a player can make. After the dice is thrown, one of the stair tiles is temporarily removed and any number of stairs and classrooms adjacent to the now empty space can be moved to that space. As soon as that space is filled, someone else space is revealed. When the shifts are completed, the player replaces the stair tile that was temporarily removed. Then the player moves her or his character to any orthogonally adjacent stair or classroom tile. It can sound a bit confusing but is not that difficult once you see it happen on the game board.
There is much more to be said about this game and the rules but I'll end with telling that in our house we decided to make adjustments to the rules and this has no ifs ands or buts made it an even more tantalizing game to play. The rules we now have will probably be changed many times more! Finally, the Lego Hogwarts Game is an excellent kids' and adult game giving everybody an chance to originate and share some major fun.
